• Type 2

Closed Cycle Cryocooled - Up to 1024 x 1024 Pixels

The Critical Imaging Type 2 IDA was designed for large FPAs, up to 1024 x 1024. Used mostly for military applications, the Type 2 IDA has been qualfied under a wide variety of environmental and operational conditions.

Closed Cycle Cryocooled - Up to 320 x 256 Pixels

The Critical Imaging Type 4 IDA was designed to handle every type of cooled FPA from single pixels up to 320 x 256 format FPAs. With a variety of linear and rotary coolers and controllers, the Type IV is a workhorse of the commercial and military worlds.

TEC Stabilized - Up to 320 x 256 Pixels

The Critical Imaging Type 6 IDA was designed as a standard, off-the-shelf configuration to accomodate the growing variety of "uncooled" FPAs. Incorporating a Thermo Electric Cooler and built to the same exacting standards of quality as the cryocooled models, the Type 6 is designed to provide many years of trouble free operation.
