Rugged
The camera body and
the lens are each independently sealed and purged to maintain
the best possible performance in the toughest conditions. The V-500
is rated from -40 +60°C.
High Resolution
Uncooled
microbolometer 320x240 format with 76,400 detector elements.
Reduced pixel pitch reduces optics size and weight.
Lens options
Lenses are field
changeable in seconds. A suite of available options includes
30°, 15°, and 10° horizontal fields of view. All lenses are
radiometrically shielded for best in performance in extremes of hot
or cold. Lenses are available with diamond hard coatings for
the ultimate protection.
Video Trip Wires
The V-500 has
built-in automatic video trip wires to respond to scene changes as
small as 0.5°C while discriminating based on target size. With
customizable alarm thresholds, probability of detection over 95%
with low false alarm rates.
Integration
Ready
The V-500 offers
USB and 2 serial RS-232 ports as well as 3 configurable Digital I/O
for ready integration to a processing unit. Since alarming is
done on board the camera, no external image processing is required.
The camera produces only the image (or images) of targets without
the need for pattern recognition processing or time-from-trigger
event schemes. Once triggered, an external device is required
to compress the image, archive it and/or transmit it to a control
station.
Motorized focus
Focus is remote or
can be adjusted on-camera using the convenient keypad.
Compact Size
Small physical size
aids transport and concealment. Low power minimized battery
draw, reducing system weight and extending endurance.
